Jones Beach History Hike
Adults and Teens (12+) | Walk
$4 fee per program participant
Join one of our educators on a walk through the history and design of Jones Beach. On this walk you will be introduced to master planner, Robert Moses, who created the state park that 6 million people visit each year.
We will meet at the nature center and then you will drive behind our Parks vehicle to the historical locations to walk within the park.

Drop in anytime during the program time for a day of outdoor games with the Center! Play ring toss, corn hole, create chalk art, and join a relay race to have fun in the sun this summer.
* Parking fees collected 8am-4pm across Jones Beach State Park. Empire Passes also accepted.

Come explore how the greatest source of energy on Earth—the sun—can be harnessed. From photosynthesis to solar panels, we will learn about the principles of solar energy by designing, building, and racing solar cars.
