Spend Memorial Day Weekend helping protect an endangered species, the Piping Plover.

Take a walk out on sand to the beachfront and be positioned around the nesting areas.

All ages are welcome to volunteer, but all volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

After registering you will receive a separate email with detailed instructions and parking information.

We will provide:

• An Air Show t-shirt (1 per person, some t-shirt sizes limited)

• Bagged lunch

• Water

You should bring:

• Chairs

• Sunscreen

• Snacks

• Refreshments for your group.

In the event of rain, we will follow guidance based on the Bethpage Airshow's choice to reschedule or cancel.
