Koolpix is a self-taught photographer, having dedicated many hours to studying the work of other photographers and practicing his own craft. His determination to capture fantastic bird activity pushed him to get outside into nature almost every day for the challenge.

Jay Koolpix - Wildlife Photographer

Jay Koolpix worked a variety of jobs starting from the age of 11. After finally retiring nine years ago, Jay began concentrating on his hobby of bird photography. He realized that his newfound passion required him to upgrade his tools. After purchasing a long lens and a good camera as a present to himself, his hobby grew.
