Adults and Teens (12+) | Walk
Join one of our educators on a walk through the history and design of Jones Beach. On this walk you will be introduced to famed surveyor and Parks Commissioner of New York City, Robert Moses, whose work created the state park that 6 million people visit each year.
We will meet at the nature center and then walk towards the tip of the west end.
This walk is at least 1.5 miles on sandy terrain.
This program takes place OUTDOORS. Please dress appropriately and drink water.
