Theme: Seining
Seine fishing employs a large net (seine) with two poles. Two people stand parallel to the shore, each holding one pole. As it sweeps the water, the net catches aquatic organisms. Join a JBENC Educator to learn about seine fishing and meet the aquatic organisms that call Jones Bay home.
Join an educator each day of this exciting week to explore a different topic in field science. Students will gain new skills in exploring the scientific process and collecting data.
RSVP required.
This program takes place OUTDOORS.
